Helen, known as Elena, was born in 1200 in CARRICK,AYRESHIRE,SCOTLAND.1 Elena's father was Constable Lord Alan De Galloway Of Scotland and her mother was Lady Helen Rognvaldsdatter Of The Isles. Her paternal grandparents were Lord Roland De Galloway and Elena De Moreville; her maternal grandparents were Lord Rognvald (Reginald) Somerledsson Of The Isles and Fonia De Moray. She had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Unknown. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-sisters named Christina and Dervogilla II. She died at the age of 45 on November 21st, 1245 in BRACKLEY,ABERDEENSHIRE,SCOTLAND. She was buried in Brackley,Aberdeen,Scotland.1 General Notes
