Lord Rognvald (Reginald) Somerledsson Of The Isles 
Rognvald, known as Reginald, was born in 1148 in Morven Argyleshire Scoltland. Reginald's father was Somerled Gillebridesson and his mother was Princess Raghildis Olafsdoittir Of Man. His paternal grandparents were Gillebride Imergisson and Paalsdatter; his maternal grandparents were King Olaf I (The Red) Godredsson Of The Isles and Ingebiorg Haakonsdoittir. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Arran, Dougall, Angus (Engull), Olave, Gal, Alan, Beatrice and Bethag. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 in 1207 in Kintyre,Argyleshire,Scotland.General Notes
