Earl Ranulph V De Keveliock Of Chester

Ranulph V was born in 1173.¹ Ranulph V's father was Earl Hugh VI (Kevelioc) De Meschines Of Chester and his mother was Lady Bertrade De Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Earl Ranulph IV De Meschiness Of Chester and Lady Maud De Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were Earl Simon III De Montfort Of Evreux and Lady Amice De Beaumont. He had seven sisters named Hawise, Maud, Beatrix, Amicia, Adeliz, Mabel and Agnes. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 59 on October 28th, 1232.¹
