Philip I, known as The Fair, was born before May 23rd, 1052 in Paris,Reims,France.1   The Fair's father was King Henry I Capet Of France, Duke Of Burgundy and his mother was Princess Anna Yaroslavna Of Kiev.  His paternal grandparents were King Robert II (The Pious) Capet Of France and Princess Constance De Aqu; his maternal grandparents were Grand Duke Yaroslav I (The Wise) Vladimirovich Of Kiev and Princess Ingegarde Olafsdoittir Of Sweden. He had a brother named The Great.  He was the older of the two children.  He died on July 29th, 1108 in Melun,France.1 


The Fair's first family with Bertha Van Holland

‌The Fair and Bertha were married in a religious ceremony in 1072.  They had a son and a daughter, named Louis VI and Constance.


The Fair's second family with Lady Bertrade De Montfort

‌The Fair and Bertrade were married in a religious ceremony on May 15th, 1092.  They had a son and a daughter, named Philip and Cecelia.
