Louis VII was born about 1121 in Reims,Champaigne,France.  Louis VII's father was King Louis VI Capet Of France and his mother was Adelaide De Maurienne of Savoy.  His paternal grandparents were King Philip I (The Fair) Capet Of France and Bertha Van Holland; his maternal grandparents were Marquis Humbert II De Maurienne Of Turin and Gisele De Ivera Of Bourgogne. He had four brothers and a sister, named Philip II, Henry, Robert I, Peter I and Constance.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died on September 18th, 1180 in Paris,France.

‌Louis VII and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony on July 22nd, 1137 in Bordeaux Cathedral,Bordeaux,France.  Their marriage was annulled.  They had two daughters named Mary and Alisa.

‌Louis VII and Constance were married in a religious ceremony in 1153.  They had two daughters named Margaret and Adelaide.
