Margaret was born in 1158.  Margaret's father was King  Louis VII Capet of France and her mother was Constance Alfonsez Of Castile.  Her paternal grandparents were King Louis VI Capet Of France and Adelaide De Maurienne of Savoy; her maternal grandparents were King  Alfonzo VII De Castile Of Castille and Berengia De Barcelona. She had a sister named Adelaide.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Philip II Augustus, Mary, Alisa, Adel and Agnes.  She died at the age of 40 in 1198.
