Henry B Whipkey 
Henry B was born in 1798 in Somerset Co, PA.1 Henry B's father was Henry B Whipkey and his mother was Elizabeth Keefer. His paternal grandparents were John Jacob Whipkey and Elizabeth Hurraw; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Kieffer and Elizabeth (Kieffer). He had six brothers and six sisters, named David, Johnathon H, Solomon, Joseph, Simon, Abraham Marion, Elizabeth, Hannah, Eva Ann, Marian, Joanna and Anna Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 71 in 1869 in Jackson County, Illinois.1 General Notes
