Hamelin Plantagenet 
Hamelin was born in 1130 in Normandy, France.1 Hamelin's father was Geoffrey V PLANTAGENET and his mother was Matilda Adelaide. His paternal grandparents were Fulk V "le Jeune" of Anjou and Ermengarde (Ermentrude) du MAINE; his maternal grandparents were Henry I Beauclerc and Matilda Atheling. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry II de Anjou, Geoffrey VI, William and Emma. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 in April 1202 in Lewes, Sussex, Eng. He was buried in Chapter House, Lewes, Sussex, England.1 1 General Notes
