Sybil was born in 1012.1 Sybil's father was Ealdorman Of Northumbria Uchtred and her mother was Eggfrida of Chester. Her paternal grandparents were Waltheof I Ealdorman and Elfeda of Northumbria; her maternal grandfather was Bishop Of Durham Aldune. She had a brother named Ealdred Of Bernicia. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Maldred Of DUNBAR and Ealdgyth (Aglithia). She died at the age of 28 in 1040.1 General Notes
