Adela Alix was born in 1009 in France.1 Adela Alix's father was Robert II Capet and her mother was Constance de Toulouse. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet and Adelaide de Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were William III Talliefer and Emma de Avignon. She had four brothers and a sister, named Hugh, Henri I, Robert I le, Eudes and Constance. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died in Monastere de L'Ordre de St. Benoist, Messines, France.1 General Notes
