Robert Whitaker

Robert was born about 1718 in ,Warwick, VA.¹   Robert's father was John Whitaker and his mother was Martha Gough.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Whitaker and Elizabeth Pyland; his maternal grandparents were William Gough and Alice Thacker. He had six brothers and a sister, named Richard, James, John, Gough, Dudley, William and Martha.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died in 1765 in ,Halifax, NC.¹
