David Atlas Spears 
David Atlas was born on January 15th, 1853 in ,Pike, Alabama.1 David Atlas' father was William Lane Spears and his mother was Mary Agnes Clark Nelson. His paternal grandparents were Bird Booker Spier and Mary Payton; his maternal grandparents were John Nelson and Sarah Y. Clark. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Benjamin Booker, Thomas Jones, William Henry, Patience Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Agnes and Alabama Y.. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on January 26th, 1935 in ,Lovaca, TX.1 -
