William Pitt Phipps 
William Pitt was born on December 24th, 1806 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 William Pitt's father was William Phipps and his mother was Sarah Erwin. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Phipps and Hester Aston; his maternal grandparents were Edward Erwin and Mary. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Edward Ervin, Joshua, James Surguine, Thomas Milligan, Wesley Asbury, Fletcher Watson, Mary, Hester Or Hattie Aston, Elizabeth Sarah, Margaret, Wilma Or Willie Ann and Sarah Jane. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 43 on October 28th, 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
