Margaret Phipps 
Margaret was born on September 15th, 1804 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Margaret's father was William Phipps and her mother was Sarah Erwin. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Phipps and Hester Aston; her maternal grandparents were Edward Erwin and Mary. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Edward Ervin, Joshua, William Pitt, James Surguine, Thomas Milligan, Wesley Asbury, Fletcher Watson, Mary, Hester Or Hattie Aston, Elizabeth Sarah, Wilma Or Willie Ann and Sarah Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 86 on August 26th, 1891 in Rushville, Schuyler, Illinois.1 -
