Wesley Asbury Phipps 
Wesley Asbury was born on September 16th, 1816 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Wesley Asbury's father was William Phipps and his mother was Sarah Erwin. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Phipps and Hester Aston; his maternal grandparents were Edward Erwin and Mary. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Edward Ervin, Joshua, William Pitt, James Surguine, Thomas Milligan, Fletcher Watson, Mary, Hester Or Hattie Aston, Elizabeth Sarah, Margaret, Wilma Or Willie Ann and Sarah Jane. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 66 on October 16th, 1882.1 -
