Morton Luther Patterson

Morton Luther was born in October 1884 in Kentucky.¹ Morton Luther's father was Patrick Luther Patterson and his mother was Gilla Ann Combest. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Pierce Patterson and Martha Jane Peck; his maternal grandparents were Wiley Combest and Martha Hammond. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Howard Morton, Patrick William, Mary E., Martha, Patsy J. and Florence. He was the youngest of the seven children.¹
