George Washington was born on October 3rd, 1888 in Pana, Illinois.1   George Washington's father was Commadore Perry Combest and his mother was Abigail Frances Wood.  His paternal grandparents were James Combest and Nancy Bowmer; his maternal grandparents were Ransom Wood and Susan Taylor. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James Allen, Robert Eugene, William Ransom, Willard Perry, Albert Galatan, Charles Riley, Arthur Cleveland, Gilla Frances, Lillian May and Anna Gertrude.  He was the youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-sisters named Ida May, Clara Bell and Ceilia Anna.  He died at the age of 60 on July 2nd, 1949 in Bell, California.1
