Clara Bell Speaker

Clara Bell was born on November 27th, 1861 in Illinois.¹   Clara Bell's father was David Speaker and her mother was Abigail Frances Wood.  Her maternal grandparents were Ransom Wood and Susan Taylor. She had two sisters named Ida May and Ceilia Anna.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had eight half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James Allen, Robert Eugene, William Ransom, Willard Perry, Albert Galatan, Charles Riley, Arthur Cleveland, George Washington, Gilla Frances, Lillian May and Anna Gertrude.  She died at the age of 97 on August 1st, 1959 in Illinois.¹
