Peter Tennant 
Peter was born on March 2nd, 1773 in South Brancvh, Potomac River, Hardy Co, (W)VA. Peter's father was Richard D. II Tennant and his mother was Elizabeth Haught. His paternal grandparents were Richard D. Tennant and Janet Wark; his maternal grandparents were Peter 1st Haught and Rebecca Tennant. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Richard D. III, William, Alexander, Joseph S., John, Adam, Abraham J., Jacob Aaron, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret Ann (Peggy) and Sarah Catherine (Aunt Kit). He was the third oldest of the thirteen children.-
