Elizabeth Tennant 
Elizabeth was born about 1771 in Statler Run, Monongalia Co, (W)VA. Elizabeth's father was Richard D. II Tennant and her mother was Elizabeth Haught. Her paternal grandparents were Richard D. Tennant and Janet Wark; her maternal grandparents were Peter 1st Haught and Rebecca Tennant. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Richard D. III, William, Alexander, Joseph S., John, Adam, Abraham J., Jacob Aaron, Mary, Margaret Ann (Peggy) and Sarah Catherine (Aunt Kit). She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.-
