Jacob Aaron was born in 1792 in Fayette Co, PA. Jacob Aaron's father was Richard D. II Tennant and his mother was Elizabeth Haught. His paternal grandparents were Richard D. Tennant and Janet Wark; his maternal grandparents were Peter 1st Haught and Rebecca Tennant. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Richard D. III, William, Alexander, Joseph S., John, Adam, Abraham J., Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret Ann (Peggy) and Sarah Catherine (Aunt Kit). He was the youngest of the thirteen children.-
