Jewel Clark Whitten 
Jewel Clark was born on January 11th, 1892 in Temple, Bell Co., Texas.1 Jewel Clark's father was Robert Weir Johnson Whitten and his mother was Lucy Emma Davis. His paternal grandparents were Alfred Carnes Whitten and Sarah Frances Kenneda; his maternal grandparents were Reuben E Davis and Elizabeth Whitaker. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Reuben Luther, Robert Glover, Ernest William, Mary Edith, Lela Gertrude, Ida Alwilda, Lillian Ruth and Grace. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on March 17th, 1969 in Bessemer, Jefferson Co., Alabama.1 -
