Ernest William Whitten 
Ernest William was born on April 24th, 1900 in , Bell Co., Texas.1 Ernest William's father was Robert Weir Johnson Whitten and his mother was Lucy Emma Davis. His paternal grandparents were Alfred Carnes Whitten and Sarah Frances Kenneda; his maternal grandparents were Reuben E Davis and Elizabeth Whitaker. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Reuben Luther, Robert Glover, Jewel Clark, Mary Edith, Lela Gertrude, Ida Alwilda, Lillian Ruth and Grace. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on May 28th, 1980 in Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas.1 -
