Johannah Edmiston 
Johannah was born on April 28th, 1791 in Washington, Virginia.1 Johannah's father was John Edmiston and her mother was Mary Buchanan. Her paternal grandparents were William Edmiston and Agnes Holmes; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Buchanan and Johanna Hays. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Andrew, Samuel, Nancy, Martha Patsy, Polly, Selina, Jane and Margaret. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 57 on June 3rd, 1848 in Kellys Chapel, Washington, Virginia.1 General Notes
