Andrew Edmiston 
Andrew was born on February 22nd, 1794 in Washington, Virginia.1 Andrew's father was John Edmiston and his mother was Mary Buchanan. His paternal grandparents were William Edmiston and Agnes Holmes; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Buchanan and Johanna Hays. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Samuel, Johannah, Nancy, Martha Patsy, Polly, Selina, Jane and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 58 on July 18th, 1852 in Washington, Virginia.1 General Notes
