Rachel Emma Crawford 
Rachel Emma was born on May 25th, 1842 in Arkansas.1 Rachel Emma's father was James A Crawford and her mother was Rachel Sawyers Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Crawford and Rachel Lesley; her maternal grandparents were John Crawford and Margaret Buchanan. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John Alexander, Archabold, William Hay, James Leslie, Pleasant Alfred, Isaac C, Thomas Edward, Margaret M and Nancy J. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 89 in 1931 in Ballinger, Texas.1 General Notes
