Arminda Jane was born on September 11th, 1843.1 Arminda Jane's father was Thomas Wiley Buchanan and her mother was Phoebe Titus Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were John Buchanan and Hannah Buchanan; her maternal grandparents were William Crawford and Rachael Titus. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named William Alfred, Charles McKinney, John Pryor, James Chambers, Robert Milton, Andrew Fulton, Jefferson Fulton, Sanford McElroy, Sinai Amerell and Raina Micajah.General Notes
