John de Mowbray was born on September 4th, 1286 in Chamb, Norfolk.1 John de Mowbray's father was Roger de Mowbray II Lord Thirsk and his mother was Rose Agnes de Clare. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Mowbray Baron Mowbray and Maud de Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Clare Earl of Gloucester & Hertford and Maude de Lacy Cts de Lincoln. He was an only child. He died due to Executed by hanging. at the age of 35 in 1321 in Epworth, Lincoln, England.2 -
