Roger de Mowbray II was born in 1254 in Axholme, Lincolnshire or Thirsk, Hovington, Yorkshire.1 Roger de Mowbray II's father was Roger de Mowbray Baron Mowbray and his mother was Maud de Beauchamp. His paternal grandparents were William de Mowbray Baron Axholme and Agnes (Avice) de Albini; his maternal grandparents were William de Beauchamp of Bedford Baron Bedford and Ida Longespée. He was an only child. He died at the age of 42 in 1296 in England.2 -
