John was born in 1150 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.1 John's father was Richard FitzEustace Baron Halton and his mother was Alberda de Lisoures. His paternal grandparents were Eustace FitzJohn Lord Alnwick & Malton and Agnes FitzNigell; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Lisoures and Alberda (Aubrey) de Lacy. He had a half-brother named Roger FitzRichard. He died at the age of 40 on October 11th, 1190 in Palestine.1 -
