Isabella was born on October 9th, 1200 in Pembroke Castle, Wales.1 Isabella's father was William Marshal Earl of Pembroke and her mother was Isabel de Clare Cts de Strigoil. Her paternal grandparents were John FitzGilbert Marshal and Sibyl de Evereux; her maternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare Earl of Pembroke and Aoife (Eva) MacDermot Cts de Ireland. She had three sisters named Maud (Matilda), Johanna (Joan) and Eva. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died in Berkhamstead Castle, Hertfordshire, England.1 -
