Rose Agnes was born in 1252 in Tonebridge, Suffolk, England.1 Rose Agnes' father was Richard de Clare Earl of Gloucester & Hertford and her mother was Maude de Lacy Cts de Lincoln. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert de Clare Earl of Gloucester & Hertford and Isabella Marshal; her maternal grandparents were John de Lacy Earl of Lincoln and Margaret de Quincy. She had two brothers and a sister, named Gilbert the Red de Clare, Thomas de Clare and Isabel. She died after 1316.1 -
