Helen (Elena) was born about 1222 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 Helen (Elena)'s father was Roger de Quincy Earl of Winchester and her mother was Helen McDonald de Galloway. Her paternal grandparents were Saire de Quincy IV Earl of Winchester and Margaret de Harcourt; her maternal grandparents were Alan of Galloway Earl of Galloway and Ragnhild (Hilda) of the Isles. She had a sister named Margaret. She was the younger of the two children. She died about August 20th, 1296 in England.1 -
