Richard de Morville

Richard was born about 1125 in Burgh-by-Sands, Cumberland, England.¹ Richard's father was Hugh de Morville Lord Burgh and his mother was Beatrice de Beauchamp. His paternal grandparents were Simon de Morville and Ada de Engaine; his maternal grandparents were Hugh de Beauchamp and Matilda de Taillebois. He had a half-sister named Ada. He died in 1189.¹
