Roger de Quincy was born about 1174 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 Roger de Quincy's father was Saire de Quincy IV Earl of Winchester and his mother was Margaret de Harcourt. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy Lord Buckley and Orabilis of Mar; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Beaumont III Earl of Leicester and Petronilla De GRANTMESNIL. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Hawise. He died on April 25th, 1264 in England.1 General Notes
