Isolde (Iseude) was born about 1265 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.1 Isolde (Iseude)'s father was Roger Lord Mortimer and her mother was Maud de Braiose. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Mortimer Lord Wigmore and Gwladus Ddu "the Dark Eyed" verch Llywelyn Fawr; her maternal grandparents were William de Braose V Lord Abergavenny and Eva Marshal. She had a brother and a sister, named Edmund de Mortimer and Isabella. She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-brother named Edmund. She died in 1338.1 -
