Matilda (Edith) of Scotland Pss of Alba 
Matilda (Edith) of Scotland was born in 1079 in Dumfernline.1 Matilda (Edith) of Scotland's father was Malcolm III Caennmor King of Scots and her mother was Margaret the Exile of England. Her paternal grandparents were Duncan I MacCrinan the Gracious King of Scots and Aelflaed (Sybil) of Northumbria; her maternal grandparents were Edward the Exile of the West Saxons and Agatha von Braunschweig. She had a brother and a sister, named David I The Saint and Mary. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother named Duncan II of Scotland. She died at the age of 39 on May 1st, 1118 in Westminster Palace. She was buried in Winchester.1 1 General Notes
