Duncan II of Scotland was born about 1060.1 Duncan II of Scotland's father was Malcolm III Caennmor King of Scots and his mother was Ingibiorg Finnsdottir. His paternal grandparents were Duncan I MacCrinan the Gracious King of Scots and Aelflaed (Sybil) of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Finn Arnisson Jarl of Halland and Bergljot (Thorborg) Halfdansdottir. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David I The Saint, Paul I Thorfinnson, Matilda (Edith) of Scotland and Mary. He died on November 12th, 1094.1 General Notes
