Ingibiorg was born about 1015.1 Ingibiorg's father was Finn Arnisson Jarl of Halland and her mother was Bergljot (Thorborg) Halfdansdottir. Her paternal grandparents were Arni Arnmodsson and Thora Thorsteinsdottir; her maternal grandfather was Halfdan Sigurdsson. She was an only child. She died before 1070.1
