Leland Austin Kempson 
Leland Austin was born on October 1st, 1899 in Newberry County, SC.1 Leland Austin's father was Henry Levi Kempson and his mother was Minnie Shealy. His maternal grandparents were Luther Shealy and Martha Bowers. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Arthur Alvin, James Luther, Mary Ellen (Mae), Myrtle Lee and Katie Lou Alva. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 63 on September 6th, 1963.1 -
