Flog Jeanette was born on April 27th, 1901 in Chapin, Lexington County, SC.1 Flog Jeanette's father was Jacob Walter Frick and her mother was Loretta Jane Sease. Her paternal grandparents were William Frick and Nancy L. Boland; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Noah Sease and Angela Catherine Epting. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Ralph Sease, Noah Zebedee, Carrie Lee, Mary Lucile, Edieth Carolyn and Lila Helen. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 98 on August 24th, 1999 in Lexington, SC. She was buried on August 27th, 1999 in Mount Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 General Notes

JANET HALLMAN
Lexington - Services for Janet Frick Hallman, 98, will be held at 4 p.m.
Friday, August 27, 1999 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, with burial in
Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin. The family will receive
friends from 6-8 tonight at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington
Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Hallman died Tuesday, August 24, 1999. Born in chapin, she was a
daughter of hte late Jacob Walter and Loretta Sease Frick. She was a
member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Women of the ELCA and Ladies'
Bible Class. Mrs. Hallman graduated from Winthrop College in 1922 and
received a master's degree in education from the University of South
Carolina in 1950. She taught first grade at Edwin P. Todd Elementary
School in Spartanburg for 34 years before retiring.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Walther of Lexington; granddaughter and
grandson-in-law, Diana and Michael Spigner of St. Simons Island, Ga.;
sister, Carolyn F. Clark of North Charleston; one great-granddaughter;
and a number of nieces and nephews.
