Jacob Walter Frick 
Jacob Walter was born on May 5th, 1874.1 Jacob Walter's father was William Frick and his mother was Nancy L. Boland. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Boland and Magdalene Frick. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Samuel Joseph, James Sidney, William B., Henry, Sam, Samuel Joseph, Sidney, Walter, Mary Alice, Polly Anne, Lula Christina, Lula, Mary and Polly. He died at the age of 63 on March 14th, 1938 in Near Little Mountain, South Carolina. He was buried on March 15th, 1938 in Mount Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 General Notes

J. WALTER FRICK
Funeral Today for Father of Columbians.
Newberry, March 14 - J. Walter Frick, 64, farmer of near Little Mountain,
died at his home there today after a long illness. The funeral services
will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Mount Horeb Lutheran
church of Chapin with the Rev. E.Z. Pence in charge. Interment will be
in the church cemetery.
Besides his widow, who was Miss Loretta Sease Frick, are the following
sons and daughters: Ralph and N.Z. Frick, Little Mountain; Mrs. J.C.
McCoy, Spartanburg; Mrs. J.H. McWhirt and Miss Carolyn Frick, both of
Columbia; one grandchild, Marilyn McCoy; a brother, S.J. Frick, and a
sister, Mrs. Mary Shealy, both of Little Mountain.
