Arnolph II was born in 0941.1 Arnolph II's father was Baudouin III Ct of Flanders & Artois and his mother was Matilda Billung. His paternal grandparents were Arnolph I le Grand Ct of Flanders and Alix de Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Conrad King of Arles and Matilda de France. He had a sister named Bertha. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 47 in 0988.1 General Notes
