Henry I the Fowler King of Germany 
Henry I the Fowler was born in 0876.1 Henry I the Fowler's father was Otto the Illustrious of Saxony King of Germany and his mother was Hedwige of Germany. His paternal grandparents were Ludolph von Sachsen Duke of Saxony and Oda Billung; his maternal grandparents were Louis II the German King of East Franks and Emma von Altdorf. He was an only child. He died in Mensleben, Saxony, Germany.1 General Notes

mother a
grandson of Louis the German (who was a grandson of
Charlemagne). The
