1 Louis II The Stammerer's father was Charles II the Bald King of West Franks and his mother was Ermentrude de Orléans. His paternal grandparents were Louis le Debonaire Holy Roman Emp and Judith the Fair von Bayern; his maternal grandparents were Vodon (Odo) de Orléans Ct of Orléans and Ingeltrude de Orléans. He had two sisters named Judith and Ermentrude (Hersent). He had a half-sister named Rothild. He died in Compiegne.1 General Notes
