Ealhswith of the Gaini of Mercia 
Ealhswith of the Gaini was born in 0852 in Mercia, England.1 Ealhswith of the Gaini's father was AEthelred Mucil Ealdorman of the Gainas and her mother was Eadburga of Mercia. Her paternal grandfather was Mucel; her maternal grandparents were Wigmund of Mercia and Elfleda of Mercia. She was an only child. She died in St. Mary's Abbey, Winchester, Dorset.1 General Notes
