James Middleton Boland 
James Middleton was born in 1841.1 James Middleton's father was Joseph Boland and his mother was Magdalene Frick. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Sam, William A., Abraham M., Reubin T., Ruben T., Christine, Mary A. K., Emmaline and Nancy L.. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Noah, Patrick, Edith A., Laura A., Jane C., Idella, Permelia A. and E. Alice. He died at the age of 81 in 1922. He was buried in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 1 General Notes
