E. Alice was born on April 10th, 1868.1 E. Alice's father was Joseph Boland and her mother was Elizabeth H. Shealy. Her paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Noah, Patrick, Edith A., Laura A., Jane C., Idella and Permelia A.. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Sam, James Middleton, William A., Abraham M., Reubin T., Ruben T., Christine, Mary A. K., Emmaline and Nancy L.. She died at the age of 61 on July 30th, 1929. She was buried in St. Peters Pineywoods, Chapin, Newberry County, SC.1 1 -
