‌Meredith Bluford and Elizabeth W. were married in a religious ceremony on December 24th, 1835 in Goochland Co., Virginia by Rev. Stephen Eastin.  They had four sons and eight daughters, named Edward Preston, Edwin, William Preston, Meredith Marshall, Martha W., Mary, Victoria, Claudia N., Emily M., Pattie, Virginia Overton and Elizabeth Cowles.
