Thomas Ruffin

Thomas was born about 1786.  Thomas' father was Willliam Ruffin and his mother was Penelope Winbourne.  His paternal grandparents were William Ruffin and Sarah ?. He had six brothers and a sister, named James T., John, Henry, William, Blount B., Starkey S. W. and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Whitmel Blount.  He died in 1840.
